In year 1 following the vast media hype the twin-towns of Bad Soden am Taunus (DE), Kitzbühel (AT) and Rueil-Malmaison (FR) have organised for 2015 a small, but cross-border exhibition project dedicated to World War I. Entitled ‘Wartime. German Snapshots in Lithographs, 1914 – 1916. War Testimonies from Kitzbühel’, the exhibition, which was conceived in Bad Soden, presents lithographs by German artists depicting the events of the war in the years 1914 – 1916 in all three towns. In each of the three locations the exhibition is supplemented by testimonies from World War I relating to the particular town and its inhabitants. Kitzbühel Museum will launch the exhibition ‘Wartime’, where it runs from 6th June – 3rd October, 2015.
